The Death of Klinghoffer—considered by many to be Adams’s greatest opera—overwhelmed audiences when it premiered just a few years after the tragic incident. Featuring breathtaking choral passages and inventive video projections, the dreamlike production of director Tom Morris (War Horse) balances the opera’s poetic libretto and intense dramatic narrative.
